Your Elevate Experience
Step One
Your Consultation
Our clinician will explain the treatment including how it works, potential risks, and expected outcomes. The consultation often involves a discussion about pre- and post-treatment care to ensure optimal results.
Step Two
Treatment Plan
The clinician will use a laser to target specific areas of the skin. First, the skin is cleansed, and a local anaesthetic may be applied to minimise discomfort.
Step Three
Aftercare
Applying sunscreen is crucial to protect sensitive skin from UV exposure, which can cause pigmentation changes. Additionally, patients should refrain from picking or scratching the treated area to prevent scarring.

FAQS
Laser pigmentation removal works by using concentrated beams of light to target and break down excess melanin. The laser targets specific areas with precision, minimising damage to surrounding tissues. The body’s immune system then clears these particles away over time. Treated spots often darken initially and then flake off within a week or two, revealing lighter skin underneath.
The treatment can be applied on the face, neck, decollatage, hands, arms, legs, and shoulders.
Generally, mild to moderate skin issues may require 1-3 sessions. More severe skin concerns might necessitate additional treatments.
The treatment may cause mild, tolerable discomfort, but not any intense pain.
Initial results are often visible after 7-14 days, improving over the course of 4-6 weeks. The results will be long lasting, for up to several years or until further damage to the skin occurs.
Those with darker skin tones are more at risk of burns and developing further pigmentation. Additionally, those with melasma are at risk of pigmentation worsening as well. A patch test would be required before we are able to go forward with the treatment.
